Zoom My second trip to the Grand Canyon. The first visit was in January, 1995, on a cross-country drive from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles with my sister. On that trip, we reached the south rim just before dusk and I don’t remember many people there—it was not tourist season. Today, however, there were a lot of tourists, many of whom were European. I heard French, Italian, and Russian being spoken around me. This really is a wonder worth traveling across the world to see.
