The refrain translates as “unfortunately, birthdays only happen once a year.” katharineholt: Yesterday we visited the film studio “Soiuzmul’tfilm,” or the Union of Animated Films. Pretty great. We got to see lots of stop-motion animation sets, including one from the much-beloved (by me and many others) Cheburashka, which is pictured above.
