A lot of people spell my name wrong. It’s Elliott with 2 L’s and 2 T’s, but the second T gets chopped off all the time. It’s like my phantom limb. I feel it even when it’s not there.

I’m almost finished with a novel (working title: Fallout, though that’s going to change) that is set in Washington, D.C. in the early 1980’s and in Moscow in the mid-1990’s. (Yes, I grew up in Washington, and yes, I lived in Moscow in the late 1990’s, but no, this is not autobiographical.) It’s part international mystery, part coming-of-age story.
